Agisoft StereoScan is a 3D modeling tool that automatically generates textured models from unaligned stereo pairs. It utilizes photogrammetry to calibrate hand-captured images, correcting for camera positions and lens distortions without manual alignment.
  • Pros

    • Automatic generation of textured 3D models from stereo pairs
    • Works with uncalibrated and unaligned input images
    • Allows hand-captured image sets from generic positions
    • Automatic calibration of camera positions and lens distortions
    • Employs advanced close-range photogrammetry techniques
  • Cons

    • Restricted to 32-bit system architecture
    • Limited to processing individual stereo pairs
    • No support for large-scale multi-image datasets
    • Memory limitations inherent to 32-bit processing

Developer’s Description

Create textured 3D models from individual stereo pairs.
Agisoft StereoScan (32-bit) is an easy to use 3D modeling tool for automatic generation of textured 3D models from individual stereo pairs. The stereo pairs are not required to be calibrated or aligned, and can be captured by hand from any generic positions. Based on the close-range photogrammetry methods, StereoScan automatically calibrates the images, including camera positions and lens distortions.
