Cons
Download difficulties: Since Adblock Plus downloads from its own site instead of the Play Store, some users might find it more complicated to download and install. We had no trouble with our Android 4.3 phone.
Rooting: Devices running older versions of Android might need to be rooted to run Adblock Plus. Rooting your device can violate its warranty, disable updates, and cause other apps to misbehave. For experts only.
Proxies: You might have to configure any proxy settings manually on your device, which could be an issue if it's a company phone. Be sure to check before policy issues arise.
