  This review was originally posted on VersionTracker.com.<br />Works fine on my G4 iBook (1.25 Ghz, OS 10.4.2)! The versavision would be great for desktop publishing -- like my old Mac II days! Also good for muti-screen set-ups or multimedia exhibits. Excellent.

  This review was originally posted on VersionTracker.com.<br />Just got a new PowerBook with Mobility 9700 (128MB) and 1G RAM. Under 10.3.5 I enjoyed UT2K4 framrates bet. 30-40fps. With 10.3.6/ATI Displays 4.4.1, I was lucky to get over 14fps. ATI Displays 4.4.2 has not improved the situation. Shame on ATI for what these updates are doing to my Mobility chip - I feel crippled compared to my first few days of use.

Is a forgotten segment of the ati library or just a good driver without need for updating? Anyway, I also have an 8500 in there too.. since all is backed up I'll see if it makes any difference to d/l the thing.

  This review was originally posted on VersionTracker.com.<br />After installing this update I can no longer use System Prefs&gt;Monitors&gt;Color in the 'expert' mode to fine-tune the color and gamma on my 22" Cinema Display running on a Radeon 9800Pro Mac Edition under 10.3.6 The 'expert mode' wizard freezes when you attempt to adjust color or gamma at the first screen. Force quit not possible as it is a hard freeze requiring use of the power button to restart. ATI's latest (4.4.2) update is the suspected cause as the earlier update allowed fine tuning of the display, even after the 10.3.6 update wass applied.

  This review was originally posted on VersionTracker.com.<br />I installed this and the ATI Displays 4.4 and it totally messed up my G4/500 with Radeon 8500 using TVOut. ATI tried to help fix, but then gave up and I have not hear from them since. I ended up backing this off my system and back to the original 126 firmware and ATI Displays 4.2.5. If you use TVout, beware. The biggest issue was that on waking from sleep the monitor output would start up but then after some messing about turn itself off (irregardles of whether the TV was powered up or not, or the ATI Displays was set to always scan for Monitors). Also not fixed is that on return from "full screen mode" in QT, VLC, MPlayer, iTunes Visualiz

  This review was originally posted on VersionTracker.com.<br />I did install this update yesterday, during the day, and, initially, there was no problem on my PowerBook 17" with the Radeon 9700 Mobility 128MB VRAM.<br><br> Later yesterday evening, I went to play "Return of the King". Much to my dismay, the system cursor now appears at the Electronic Arts splash screen and will stay around all the time. I tried to find what has changed, besides the "ATITVOut.kext" extension, but couldn't find it. The odd thing is that, after restart, System Profiler reports that this extension is not loaded. I've tried SimCity4 but it didn't exhibit the problem. I also tried to submit my problem to ATI but when I fill the support form and try to submit it, I get a weird error message and my request is not sent.<br><br> Aspyr support says that the problem is with the ATI Display, so no help there. <br><br> Anybody else has see this problem?
