While the sTabLauncher enables users to effortlessly maintain a clutter-free desktop by organizing files and icons, its lack of hot key functions is disappointing. The program has a neatly designed, user-customizable tabbed interface that can contain as many icons as you want for each tab. You can create an unlimited number of tabs and design them with different icons, specify foreground and background colors, and set its transparency. The program supports drag-and-drop functionality to quickly add items into each tab. Opening programs, Web pages, and folders from the tabs proved to be quick and effective during our tests. Unfortunately, unlike similar apps, sTabLauncher doesn't include hot key features to quickly select the tabs. Even so, we still recommend this freeware to any user who wants to maintain a clutter-free desktop.

Pros: Easy to add tabs and add program shortcuts to them.
Cons: I don't like the variety of colors and sometimes it can take awhile for it to show itself when you hover over it.

"Attractive design, easy to use"
Pros: Very easy to add tabs, and application shortcuts to those tabs. Attractively designed, plenty of opportunities to custom design it to your particular taste.
Cons: The only slight frustration is that there is sometimes a lag in getting the tab bar to pop out, if this could be overcome then it would be a 5 star program.

Pros: I sign up here just so that I can give this great tool a 5 stars. (I'd been a regular at download.com some years.) A great useful tool. I did not have the 'always on top' problem. Easily customizable to completely hide the tabs, time delay for the tabs to show/hide etc... I just love this app. Thanks!
Cons: I never really like software to be dependent on the .NET framework. Speed is one of the first thing that comes in mind. But still, that is just a very small problem for sTabLauncher due to it's small footprint.

"Looks great, stays on top of all windows"
Pros: you can store all your icons under different tab. gives your desktop a cleaner look, less cluttered. Looks great!!! You can customize it to your likes, except:
Cons: Stays on top of anything you open. You open explorer, it's on top of it, hides the top bar of explorer. Open any app, it's on top of it. Wouldn't be a problem if you can customize this part, but you can't.
