This software allows you to access e-mail on a POP3 mail server on your Pocket PC or PC. It provides the function of common remote e-mail access. The mail displayed by nPOP is only the mail on the present on the server. Therefore, if mail is deleted from your server it will disappear from a list, even if the mail is displayed in the list. When you connect using nPOP, the mail is listed and you can see the header only. From that list you can select e-mail you want to receive on your Pocket PC or PC. This is more efficient than downloading all the e-mail on your Pocket PC or PC. It can be use for management of the mail on a server etc. as a method to check for the arrival of new e-mail.

Pros
this mail client uses your pop server like it's exchange, you can scan and delete messages from the server without ever downloading them. It's fast, stable, and efficient. I'm going to make it the standard in my office.
Cons
I only wish they offered it for other operating systems besides windows.

it's the best smtp/pop mailer i've used. it's even the most lightweighted, but not only it lets you manage (delete) emails directly on the pop server, but has all the basic features big mail clients have - in only 164 kb. you can set up multiple accounts and check 'em altoghether. it writes its settings in an ini file within its directory, doesn't touch registry. great tiny program.

Summary
For a basice POP checker this is the one. Ad-Aware 6.0 did not detect any spyware. It checks multiple POP boxes and plays sound when mail arrives. It takes up LESS than 1Mb of memory (900 kb something) Sorry, I do not use MSN, Hotmail, or Yahoo! mail so I do not know how it works with those mail clients. I have my own domain mail and for that it works great.

Summary
Looking for a free and stable programs I found this one via tinyapps.org but I rate it here to tell you that is a great mail client that with a very tiny space and with NO installations and of course, very portable, it is better (the best) pogram to check email from everywhere and is very simple to use. The only one thing that is "bad" its that when you delete an email locally you done it in the server, but has de feature to mark it to do later and at the time to proceed displays a good explained alert before you continue. Simply great. Download and enjoy. I recomend it ;)
