Version: iWOW 1.1
Pros: I installed iWow for my Macbook Pro, and let me tell you what difference it makes! i The first thing that I noticed was that my $20 headphones were sounding as good as my more expensive bose triport headphones! It really did add that much dimension! After listening with iWow on for a while, I got used to it, and I kept thinking that it was turned off, but it was still on. I guess I had gotten used to the higher quality in my music. I don't think I will be able to go back to listening to itunes witout this plugin.
Cons: I would like you to be able to have a menu which adds presets for each song (it tells the program what setting the song should have)

"Yeah, it's really pretty sweet."
Pros: Well, I like the fact that it does what it says it's going to do. I downloaded the trial version, which installed and worked flawlessly (so far.) I've been looking for a while for a plug-in that will add a little richness, and also some reverb. I cannot stand studio recorded music which in which all of the richness has been equalized and compressed out. (Live music recordings are usually less so) I've heard SO MUCH MUSIC ruined this way, and it's been going on for a long time - It makes music sound so generic, so if you are a producer, engineer, or musician, stop it! Though there is no "reverb control," the other fine tune adjustments give me the sound quality that I'm interested in. I've had my iMac patched through to my stereo amp with small, not-so-great speakers, and this helped quite a bit. I also have been listening a lot with a super nice pair of Sony MDR-7506, which always sounds great, and now they are spectacular. Check out someting like Ella Fitzgerald to put this to the test . . . not that generic pop crap around these days. This little plug in is really great! Thanks for making it!
Cons: I wish I could add a little more reverb.

"Fun to play with beyond just the iTunes EQ"
Pros: You can change the "dimensions" of iTunes sound. The effects are very noticable in headphones and may give an impression of having better, more expensive "cans." The general effect is similar to a movie theater's "dramatic" sound system. A matter of taste, but in general, I like it.
Cons: Minor complaint: There are a half dozen presets (jazz, Rock, etc.). The custom setting lets you fine tune the effects, but you loose your custom settings if you shut off iTunes or the computer.

Version: iWOW 1.1
Pros: Absolutely none
Cons: If you don't buy this after the demo expires, you will get a popup box every time you open iTunes. Then later, you will be unable to close the popup box or open iTunes.
Summary: The worst kind of bad software behavior.

"Not sure what to think about this product."
Pros: No positive attributes but that just may be my setup.
Cons: Seems to cut fidelity before enhancing. Using OS 10.4 With iSub and Harmon Kardon Satellites. Lost all bass. Uninstalled and still had no bass. Had to unplug iSub before I could get sound back to normal.
Summary: Didn't bother to run it through my vintage Advents. They're hard top improve on. I find iTunes enhancements more than enough. Give it a try, I couldn't use it.
