  When I go to run the program I get an error code. Uninstalled and re-installed. Finally ran scan and it took forever. Once the scan was finally done I still had duplicates in my iTunes! Also it doesn't allow you to choose which folder to scan. I have an external hard drive where I save my music files and one where I keep iTunes. I have no idea which one the program is scanning.

  None that I could get to. Maybe if I waited a week for it to finish, it might have done some good, but I did not want to take that time.

  It simply crawled along--I stopped it (had to do a hard shut down) after several days of running thru my large iTunes library. I have removed it from my system.

  Summary

  I should have checked out more reviews before I downloaded and paid for this. Buyer beware.

  This system was $8 and now I wish I has spent some money on a good program. It annihilated my i tunes and didn't do what I wanted it to do which was get rid of the duplicates!

  Summary

  Another downside is I still have a ton of duplicates. Here is what it did, out of my 25 Pink Floyd albums it took 5 songs here and 7 songs there out of various albums and that collection is a shell of it's former self. This same thing happened to The Beatles, U2, Bob Dylan, Smashing Pumpkins and so much more it will take me years and thousands of dollars to fix what this program has done. If you have a 10 gigabyte collection or more please do not use this program! I started with 250 Gigabytes and I now have 213 and %60 of that I wanted to keep.

  Pros

  This thing saved me a bunch of time, at a really low price. It's simple to use, to the extreme. Support is great; when I called, the owner answered me because nobody else was there, and helped me himself.

  Cons

  It leaves too many duplicate files in place. It becomes completely unresponsive while working; it won't even minimize. There are no filters to apply.(That's what makes it simple.)

  Summary

  I'm pleased with what I got for my money, but if I were working, now I would have gone with something with more refined controls.

  - had to buy product before I could try it - takes hours to find duplicates - crashed on first use - did not recover disk space - user interface is very poor - could not recall any song lyrics

  I do not normally write reviews, but I was so very disappointed in this product. The fact I had to pay for it before I could even try it has made me feel ripped off. Don't buy this one! I think there are other better products out there.

  It removes the duplicate SOURCE files perfectly.

  It doesn't necessarily delete how it is listed in iTunes.

  Summary

  I called the company because I was confused about why it still had duplicates in iTunes. The gentleman was very police, courteous, patient, and helpful. He told me the program would only del.ete duplicate files, which it appeared to do fine. He instructed me on how to get rid of the duplicate listings in iTunes really easy, just select the entire library, delete the songs, but not the actual song files. Then go to file > folder and load the iTunes music folder. In the end I was happy and pleased with the customer service and how it was resolved. I do recommend.
