iPod Getter is a simple Windows application to extract tracks from iPod music players back to host computer.
Program features are: Quickly open and display the content of the iPod database with many commonly used fields; Sort database view by any of the fields; If needed, view only the first few tracks from the database; Define the output filename of the extracted tracks using easy to understand templates; Extract one or many files in one operation; No complicated installation - simply unzip the program and run from any directory; very intuitive interface; and fast extract operation. Don't know whether it's a CNET thing, but install/download prompted me to install an icons toolbar and then to click "I Agree" to sending my browsing habits to some marketing company. Luckily it still installed after I said "I don't agree" (hopefully it didn't install anyway).
Anyway, major gripe is that whenever I tried to copy anything, either singly or in batch, it comes up with "division by zero". I don't think I'm doing anything particularly odd- just trying to copy from an ipod to a win7-64 folderSummary
I'm going to try and find another product.

It's a simple software with basic function,but it's really good for those who has lost all the music files in the PC and need to get them back for the iPod.

Pros:--- Easy to navigate and open up the music on Ipod
--- Clearly shows tracks and playlists in order as they would on Itunes
---Easily moves your selected songs, to any folder on your hardrive, (however didn't finish for some reason )

Cons:----No option to delete songs from your ipod (if you want) once you extract them
----Does show a message when extracting the songs, but somehow it got interrupted and didn't finish extracting all the ones I chose
----You have to search for the folder that you chose to put the songs in, and check to see if they were all copied successfully
