This free utility is basically a watered-down version of Google's popular toolbar. The eClickz Toolbar's main function is to provide quick access to the eClickz search engine. But in our tests, trolling eClickz by entering several common keywords provided a rather small number of results when compared to more capable competitors. The program's built-in pop-up blocker did a decent job with standard ads, but didn't fare well with floating or Flash ads. The toolbar also lets you zoom in or out on a page, highlight keywords onscreen, quickly access a dictionary and thesaurus, and wipe traces of your Web-surfing history. This program makes a sensible download for regular users of the eClickz search engine, but most everyday Web surfers won't be as impressed.
