"Fast, stable, and low resource consumption"
Version: Zeus for Windows 3.97c
Pros
Prefer this over JEdit (too bloated, slow) and NotePad+ (regexp is just broken).
Cons
The Open/Save via FTP could be more user friendly.
Summary
Worthy editor for anyone working in multiple languages, large files, needs edit-over-ftp/sftp.

"Problems with Cyber-Robotics integrity"
Version: Zeus for Windows 3.97
Pros
Problems with the Zeus link marketing
Cons
Zeus is too complicated. There are too many steps, too many "hidden" screens, too many hoops to jump through and all of this makes it too time consuming.
Summary
Problems with the Zeus link marketing software itself:
After working with Zeus extensively I have concluded it is a clunky, unreliable piece of software. It never worked right on my Vista computer-Zeus would lock up forcing me to close the program and re-run it. Other times my computer itself locked up requiring a reboot. One day it just stopped loading completely which led me to contact Cyber-Robotics Tech Support. This was a waste of my time as Zeus tech support is useless. They were unable to help me to get Zeus to run again on my computer and basically told me I was out of luck without offering any real reason or explanation.
Problems with using Zeus to get reciprocal links:
Zeus is too complicated. There are too many steps, too many "hidden" screens, too many hoops to jump through and all of this makes it too time consuming.
Their frequent assertion "Automatically create traffic on your website" couldn't be further from the truth. Anyone seeking serious results using Zeus must plan on spending 5-10 hours per week running Zeus on just one website. For webmasters with multiple websites, running Zeus can easily become a full time job.
Problems with Cyber-Robotics integrity:
With all the hype from the Cyber-Robotics people about how easy Zeus is to use, how automatic it is, etc. (which is all not true!) most people end up frustrated when they don't get the results that Zeus promises. I get the impression that a lot of the problems with Zeus for link exchanging are by design to get users frustrated to the point they're ready to quit. When that happens, Cyber-Robotics is always happy to sell you add-on services where they do all the work for you to the tune of $100-$500 a clip or charge you by the hour to tell you how to use their software.
All told it seems they lure you in with a low price for their software or a really low price if you buy one of their "one time only" specials that they run every other month and then nail you with all kinds of extra fees for services and support. That's a great business model for Cyber-Robotics but a real disservice for the webmaster looking to make link marketing work for them.
Summary: Don't waste your time or your money on Cyber-Robotics Zeus for link marketing. There are many other reciprocal link systems out there that are much less expensive, far easier to use and will get your excellent results with a minimum of effort. -

"Excellent text editor with outstanding support"
Version: Zeus for Windows 3.95f
Pros
I've used Zeus for 6 years. I really liked the previous version, and this version (3.95f) is phenomenal. I've tried other text editors (e.g., TextPad 4.7.3), and Zeus beats them hands down. There are numerous features in this version that really help out and simplify editing and manipulating text. I use this program for editing data and creating command files for statistical software programs (e.g., SAS, LISREL, etc.). Zeus allows you to cut and paste columns of text and data, and the macro functions are flexible and make short work of repetitive tasks.
Cons
The only issue that I have encountered is that the program slows down slightly with huge files.

"Great programmer's editor."
Version: Zeus for Windows 3.95f
Pros
What a great programmer's editor! I have now evaluated about 10 in all and Zeus is by far the best.

"Worthy Brief replacement"
Version: Zeus for Windows 3.95f
Pros
As a long time MS-DOS Brief user I thought I'd never find a worthy replacement, that is until I found Zeus. In many ways Zeus is a much better editor than Brief ever was (never thought I'd be saying that).
Cons
Brief still handles searching and replacing inside a keyboard macro much better than Zeus.

"Outstanding piece of software."
Version: Zeus for Windows 3.95f
Pros
Fast loading, highly configurable, rock solid piece of software. Very important to my every day development effort.
