Yellowpipe Lynx Viewer, a Firefox extension, displays a Lynx view of a Web page via a right-click or the tool menu. With just one click and without leaving the page, preview the page you are on with a Yellowpipe Lynx Viewer. You can see what a page will look like when viewed with Lynx, a text-mode Web browser. It is also, presumably, how search engines see your site. Version 1.2.1 includes unspecified updates.

You don't need to install the text-only Lynx Web browser to see how pages will render in it; you can use this free Firefox extension instead.
Yellowpipe Lynx Viewer Tool can be accessed two ways--through Firefox's Tools menu or by right-clicking. The user interface is very clean, but the text is almost too small. It's suitable for a quick glance, but not for extensive reading. It would have been nice to include a text customization option or magnifying function. Still, we liked its ease-of-use. When accessed, a pop-up window appears on top of whatever you're working on, displaying the page as it would appear using the Lynx browser. Once you're finished viewing the page, just close the window. You wont miss a beat while browsing.
Yellowpipe Lynx Viewer Tool is a specialized Firefox add-on that works well and comes at no charge. If you need to see how pages look using Lynx, we can easily recommend this freeware.
