Yahoo Weather lets you see current conditions, as well as hourly and daily forecasts, animated radar, and other relevant statistics. With a sleek, scrollable interface and no ads to get in the way, this app lets you see all the weather information you want quickly and conveniently.

Pros

Multiple locations: You can add up to 20 different locations to this app, and then just select your desired location from a list or swipe through from one to the other to see what's going on in other places. And no matter where you are, you can get current weather and forecasts quickly using the Current Location option.

Lots of stats: In addition to current conditions, including Humidity, Visibility, the UV Index, and what it Feels Like, this app provides you with all kinds of information about what to expect from the weather going forward. Hourly predictions include an image for sun, clouds, or rain, depending on the situation, as well as a temperature forecast. And the daily forecast is similar, but it also tells you the percentage chance of precipitation and what the high and low for the day will be.

Cons

A few omissions: There is no place in this app where you can find information about pollen counts or alerts in your area. While this isn't a major drawback for many users, anyone with seasonal allergies might find that a pretty glaring omission. And while you can view an animation of previous radar, there is no predictive option to go along with that.

Bottom Line

Yahoo Weather presents a lot of useful information in a clear and convenient format, and it's free. There are a few things missing that would make it more useful, especially for some users, but overall, it's a good option, especially considering the significant shortcomings of the other weather apps out there.
