Cons: needs better graphics

Version: X-Wing Alliance demo
Cons: This is an older program and almost any space sim is more attractive. I found it impossible to get to a useful video resolution for modern PC's. The demo was locked on 640 x 480. In short, unless you are a die hard Star Wars fanatic, I'd leave this one alone.

Version: X-Wing Alliance demo
Pros: Despite being an older game with older graphics (my K6-2 300MHz and Voodoo 3 were plenty to handle the highest settings back in the day), I still have a blast going back to play through this game from time to time. The gameplay is WAY SUPERIOUR to any of those goofy Rebel Assault games. It's challenging, fun, and very satisfying.
Cons: The graphics are dated, but not bad at all considering. I do wish they'd make a new X-Wing game :(

Version: X-Wing Alliance demo
"Old game, old graphics, oddly just released on CNET"
Pros: Well, I guess the pro's are that you get to fly a ship like the Millennium Falcon
Cons: Uh, this game demo is like for Windows 98. And you have to have a joystick to play it. The graphics are definitely old time. Readme file says you only need like 4Mb video card. I couldn't really play it since I don't have a joystick.
