In this typical battlefield game, you're a tank operator who has to destroy hostile tanks and accomplish some missions. After the installation, you're required to register and enter Wulfram II through a Web site, because the action happens only online. The map is small, so pay attention in the beginning to where you were dropped and where you need to go to destroy the enemy's camp. The crude graphics are reminiscent of the early days of Doom or Descent. The tank you pilot is big and awkward, leaving almost no chance to run away from enemy fire. Your tank will be turned to dust in a matter of seconds, as a couple of shots are more than enough to make that happen. You also have little time to maneuver, and little maneuverability anyway. The enemy has many tanks, so if you're alone, forget about surviving. Fortunately, the online community provides many allies to watch your back. Aficionados of tank battles should enjoy Wulfram II.Publisher's description
From Slurpy Soft :This is free game that is financially supported by members of the community that want to keep it going, but there is no requirement to pay anything to play the game. In a place and time far away from where we are today, two intergalactic forces fight for control over a few strategic planets. In large antigravity hovertanks, battle lines are being drawn. A commander controls mammoth spaceships orbiting far above the battlefield.
New temporary military bases are being built as the enemy is destroying old ones. Your goal is the complete annihilation of your enemy. Version 2.1.5 B Voice chat support, Kudos scoring system, Introduction Videos in Installer, Squad War Support, and Improved Auto-updater.

Version: Wulfram II 2.1.5 B
Pros: Nice strategy, one device lets you choose to build turrets, need teamwork to win.
Cons: The crosshair is based on the server, so your mouse sends the command and then it moves or shoots. The graphics are old but that can help slower computers.

"Just about as good as a game can get and still be free"
Pros: Requires a lot of strategic thinking, as well as quick reflexes. Considering how old it is, the graphics are comparatively good. And it's free!!!
Wulfram has stood the test of time (I first started playing in 1999, and have recently been reintroduced to the game).
Despite the graphics, the gameplay is very engrossing. It was very innovative for it's time, and continues to be an extremely fun game for the price you pay.
Cons: A little slow sometimes. Graphics are a bit dated, and there could be a few other updates here and there, but what do you want for free? Otherwise, the game runs very well on a minimal system.
