Catalog and manage your wine stock with this application, though even without entries the program is fairly large. WineBee stores your wine collection in a FileMaker database, but fortunately its main window is more appealing than a standard database and displays clearly labeled icons for most major functions. It offers preloaded choices for wineries, appellation, grapes, and vineyards, and you can add to these lists. WineBee also lets you add wine merchants and their contact information. When adding a new wine, you can enter bottle name, appellation, grape, and vineyard among other details. The Home tab gives you a comprehensive overview of the latest additions and provides a number of ways to search your inventory. Import files from previous WineBee versions and export information in numerous formats. Conveniently print reports including total inventory, wines from a specific winery, or those ready for drinking. Any wine collector will appreciate what this freeware has to offer, but its hefty download size is a potential turnoff.
