Version: Windows XP Media Center Edition 2005
Pros: None, since the product cannot be downloaded.
Cons: The name of this download is "Windows XP Media Center Edition 2005". However, if you click "Download Now", all you see is a link to upgrade to Windows 7, to "enjoy the latest on Windows Media Center."
Summary: The bottom line is that if you want to download Windows Media Center, even the XP version of Windows Media Center, you are going to have to upgrade to Windows 7. And the only reason I can think of is that Microsoft wants your money.
