Version: Windows Media Player (64-bit) 11
"Better than Itunes and version WMP 10"
Pros: Uses Less RAM than Itunes, Supports many mp3 players exept Ipod. Can Rip to WMA PRO which sounds better and three-quarters size of MP3. Itunes 7 has a horrible Ram: 50Megs unlike this: 15Mb only in 64bit but in 32bit: 22Mb ram. Great New look and easy to use.
Cons: This is only for Windows Xp Pro 64bit edition. Cnet made a mistake. If you try to install this in other windows xp editions, you'll a popup error. Can only read a few music formats.

Version: Windows Media Player (64-bit) 11
Cons: It doesn't support many popular file formats, has an annoying tendency to think that taking over your computer is OK, has some severe security issues (NEVER agree if it wants to download new codecs - hackers can use this feature to take over your computer.
It also phones home on a regular basis - do not run it unless you have Zone Alarm or some other firewall that will allow you to block outgoing connections installed on your computer, and make sure that this app is blocked.
Basically don't use it - Videolan and Democracy Player are far better choices.
