Publisher's Description
From Godlike Developers:
WinTools.net is a suite of tools for increasing operating system performance. WinTools.net cleanly removes unwanted software from disk drives and dead references from the Windows registry. WinTools.net puts you in control of the Windows start up process, memory monitoring and gives you the power to customize desktop and system settings to fit your needs.
WinTools.net features the following tools:
Clean Uninstaller - This tool is used for both correctly removing software and for monitoring changes made to the hard drive, Windows registry and system files during program installations.
Scan Files - This tool is used for periodic cleaning of your hard drive from dead references, junk and obsolete files produced by different software. These files and references remain on the hard disk and increase drive access time.
Scan Registry - This tool is used for periodic cleaning of the MS Windows registry from unused applications remained after uninstallation and from invalid references which decrease system speed and system loading time.
Start Up - This is a startup manager. This tool allows you to monitor, add, remove, enable and/or disable individual startup items. You can also adjust applications initialized during the loading process of the operating system.
Tweak UI - This is a set of additional adjustments related to safety, system capacity and user preferences and which are not included into basic components of Windows OS.
What's new in this version: Version 11.12 is a bug-fixing release.

"Why pay for this when CCleaner is free?"
Version: WinTools.net Classic 9.2
Cons
I don't like that they "bundled" this with the program that I wanted, that's a sneaky and underhanded way to get software you don't want on your PC when you're not paying attention.

"Wasn't as much help as it sounded at first.; then froze up too much."
Version: WinTools.net Classic 9.2

"use to reinstall shareware after expiration"
Version: WinTools.net Classic 7.4
Pros
the best use for WinTools.net is when I like a shareware program and want to use it after its trial period ends, but its not worth buying (or costs way too much). without WinTools.net I can never completely uninstall the shareware, so even when I freshly reinstall it the shareware detects something leftover so that it knows that the trail period is over. I exclusively use "Scan Reg" (Applications menu and Uninstall menu are very useful) and "Scan Files" (in Clean Folders menu, I unchecked my cookies folder because I don't want some particular cookies deleted).
Cons
that said, I bought the Classic version, because its cheap, and its worth supporting its programmers for an application I use regularly. I don't need the Professional version, which also adds "Net Tweaker," "The Privacy," and a few other small things that I don't need.

"Win-combine."
Version: WinTools.net Classic 5.5
Pros
I like Professional version and Classic too.
Cons
It is only lightened version of WinTools.net Pro.
