Web Stream Recorder is the software that allows you to record any Windows Media Video and Audio streams from internet or local network. It can record any music, video, radio broadcasts and adult content. Web Stream Recorder is extremely easy to use software. In automatic mode you just surf the Web and Web Stream Recorder will save all online video and audio streams you are watching/hearing online. In manual mode all you need is to enter URL to media stream and start the record. It also have a written clips gallery where you can manage captured clips and scheduler for the broadcasts recording.
What's new in this version: Version 2013 adds Windows 8 compatibility. Youtube downloading feature was fixed. RTMP streams downloading improved.

too many ads and popups which are hard to remove this some are even malware and some are considered virus. I am warning you guys.

Pros
Web streamer Download is straight to the point and I'd imagine easy for any person to use who skips the tutorials. Layout is simple and the auto detection of URLs is a great feature. Picked up youtube urls very nicely.
Cons
It didnt work on Vimeo even though it detected the url. Just a fail and crash if the video settings were anything but the auto detection.
Summary
I actually liked this cut and dry user interface compared to others ive tried whose interfaces were filled with advertisements or too many buttons/icons everywhere. It's a shame it didnt work on a major video streaming source. The price isnt friendly enough to win many people over of 39.95 as of May 31, 2013. Especially if it cant work on some sites.
