This nifty desktop theme turns your monitor into a relaxing, rain-rippled water surface. Water Desktop comes bundled with two background pictures of flowers that rotate on your screen at a user-selected interval. The program's visual effect is quite realistic, making it tough to tell that the onscreen picture is not actually being rained upon. If you do not care for the flowers, you can choose to display your own images. The thunderstorm sound effects add a nice touch, and we appreciate the ability to customize the appearance of the actual raindrops and apply transition effects. The preference options are extensive but simple to customize the effect you enjoy. The optional monthly opaque calendar handy. My enjoyment was to use high quality photos from flickr or picassa with a water theme. Beautiful.

I am very artistic and creativity is important. That means I can get bored far quicker than most others and static desktop wallpaper gets dull. Most animated or 3D desktop programs are not high quality but Water Desktop is very well executed and the many variables make it professionally developed yet easy to understand for a novice user. One notable option is being able to substitute your own photographs saved on your PC into a built in photo file they created within the options menu which holds up to 5 pix that will automatically transform to the next one based on how often you choose and even what transformation type you prefer (i.e. fade in, swiped in from left, etc.) I give Water Desktop theme my recommendation.
Additionally, the audio sounds (distant thunderclap, light raindrops, light bird chirps) are adjustable. Even the size of the water drops and the choice of fish ripples gliding past are optionable.

i tried to uninstall and it says successfull but could not remove some files, trojan horse came up and desktop hijacker in the registry keys. tryiing to run restore point but not successful, freezes when i try. i really hope this helps someone!!!!!!!! HORRIBLE! BOTTOM LINE IS THAT I HAVE A BRAND NEW SONY WIDESCREEN DESKTOP WITH ALL THE WORKS, NOW I GOTTA FIGURE OUT HOW TO TURN MY BRAND NEW PEICE OF JUNK BACK TO ITS ORIGINAL STATE. RECYCLING IS TAKING SOOO LONG!!! but imma pro so i will fix it and post it on this page incase this happends to you.
