CNET Editors' review
This simple utility enhances your system's volume-adjustment capabilities without clicking a button. After launching, VolumeControl resides in your system tray, where you can adjust the volume with mouse hovers rather than mouse clicks.
You simply hover your mouse pointer over the tray icon to adjust the volume or set it to mute. The program includes configurable time-delay settings, including before-pop-up mute change and volume change. The program can be set to start with Windows and can be configured for quick access to the system's volume control.
Though simple and single-functioned, even users with keyboard volume controls will be amazed at this program's ease of use. The convenience and efficiency for controlling system volume that this freeware provides is enough for us to recommend it to users of all levels.

"It is slow to come up,has a sensitive touch."
Version: VolumeControl 1.0.1
Pros
It does work in the end.
Cons
It is slow to come up and sometimes does not come up for 5 sec. It has a sensitive touch that makes it awkward to adjust. It is OK once you get use to it as you can just go up or down once you have the correct volume.

"Great one finger volume Control!"
Version: VolumeControl 1.0.1
Pros
I have a Acer Extensa notebook , where you have to use two fingers to control the hotkeys for volume and mute. With this product it is so easy, it sits down in the lower right hand bar and you just pass over it with the mouse and move it for higher or lower volume or mute and your done, its so easy, wonderful product!
