Pros
Virus Total is a fantastic online suspicious file and URL scanner. It uses up to 43 different virus and malware scanners to check files and web pages. There is a Virus Total upioader as well that you can install on your computer for ease of use!
Cons
The only con I've found is the 20mb file upload limit....

One of few places you can scan a file with so many engines and see the various results (the other I know of is Jotti). Just wish it could scan my whole system.

always good to get a 2nd opinion on something suspicious but with this you get a host of anti virus apps scanning it to many to mention but its rapid and you get the results fast,i use the context menu file upload version of this free utilitie
