This review was originally posted on VersionTracker.com. I played to the end of the demo, and discovered absolutely no desire to continue. Indeed, I was already bored with it. I was intrigued with the concept, and had fun for the first little while, but once the newness wore off, so did any interest in it. Here's the basic gyst of the game: accept mission, route through various machines (by clicking white dots on a world map), "hack" into system (which means you click your "password_cracker". That's it.), click list of files, delete (or copy) file you're asked to get (by clicking either "file_copy" or "file_delete"). Click "disconnect". Wasn't that fun? If you're too slow, they'll catch you and you might get a 1000 credit fine. Yawn. If you're anal, you can go through the same process and delete the logs (which essentially the same process as deleting any other file). Earn money, buy a faster computer, and then -- do it all over again. And again, and again. I won't be spending my money on this game. If there were any plot, it was either too subtle for me, or else it simply didn't come up before I got the "end of demo" message. If you want a good, thoughtful, intriguing, but slow game, go with EV Nova. After a similar time spent, I was absolutely and completely hooked. EV Nova: now there's a good game.

Tempted to purchase it. haven't had any problems with it yet, besides crashing on start when having TV-out turned on over S-video. maybe it wont' crash when registered since that's a registered feature to use dual monitors. shouldn't crash though. but enjoying it :)

This review was originally posted on VersionTracker.com. Been plaing it for one day. Played it for only a couple of minutes and decided to buy it. Think I made a mistake. Keeps crashing. Can't turn off the stupid music without killing all the sound. When I start it back up it wants me to create a new user instead of using one of my existing users. Couple of plroblems with playability. Should have stayed in beta for a bit longer I think. I guess I'll have to wait for the next version to come out. Hopefully Ambrosia or whoever is responsible for the game will be releasing bug fixes faster than they did for ev-nova.

No flashy graphics, but a lot of suspense and tense situations. It reminds me exactly of what you see the people do in Hackers. The tutorial gets you going quickly and makes the game seem simple. Great job!
