This simple utility hides and restores every desktop window, but fails to display any other information. Unhider's compact interface is a mere list of desktop windows and four buttons. Anyone can use this application, but only expert users will recognize some of the listed windows.
The majority of users recognize that some programs open desktop windows only as needed. Less experienced users might be confused because Unhider also lists windows that most never see. The app does make hiding and displaying windows easy. Users simply click a listed name, then click the hide or show button. Results are instantaneous.
The app is freeware, consumes very little memory, and works well. Unhider is best used by experienced users to display problem windows from familiar programs.

"Won't work on my Vista Computer"
Pros: Simple interface, no need to install
Good for experienced computer users who are able to find the programs they need to hide or restore from a list of running programs (which may be in hundreds)Cons: Only work on my Windows XP computer only.
It does not work on my Windows Vista computer.
Nor any other similar software.
