From The Informed Citizen:The US Navy Screen Saver is a unique tribute to the men and women who have served the United States in the US Navy. Watch your screen as you view historic war posters from World War I and World War II promoting the Navy. There is no spyware or adware bundled with this screen saver. Ten percent of the sales of all military screen savers will be donated to the USO in support of the men and women in the uniformed services of the United States. War posters are an important part of the history of all countries that participated in World War I and World War II. They called men and women to enlist into the Armed Services. They instructed civilians on what they should be doing to help the war effort. The most historically important aspect, however, is that they acted as a barometer to the mood of the country. The war posters that were left behind from the First and Second World Wars are now considered national treasures. This screen saver features 40 of the best war posters from the United States Navy dating from World War I until after World War II.
