Tunnelblick is a simple graphical user interface for the great VPN software OpenVPN 2.0 and higher. It is written in Cocoa and comes in a ready to use distribution with all necessary binaries and drivers. It supports the Apple Keychain to store your username and passwort or your certificate passphrase so you don't have to enter it again.
What's new in this version:
- Preparation for updating to Tunnelblick 3.3.
- Only this and later versions will be able to update to Tunnelblick 3.3 when it becomes available as a stable release.

Apparently this is an ongoing problem, since 2004. Like most open source software, help is non-existent, but if you have the time and patience, you can probably find a work-around. On the other hand, Viscosity works and costs $9.

Worked great under Tiger. But, the Leopard version is broken, and there have been no updates for three months now. Under Leopard, it crashes frequently. -

Tunnelblick is great â?? I use it every day to connect to my office openvpn server. I could use our other normal vpn connections, but open vpn and Tunnelblick is so much more flexible.
I've been using the 3.0 betas for sometime now and I have not had any problems. -

I've been using the 3.0 alpha for more than one month, and the product is absolutely great.
I really like the idea of putting everything inside the application bundle, so you don't need to install things everywhere (kernel extensions, openvpn, etc.).
