This demo doesn't have much back story, but apparently the Titans, who gave birth to the classical gods of Greek and Roman mythologies, have escaped their eternal prison to wreak havoc on the Earth, and you must stop them. The most obvious indication of their troublemaking is the existence of countless satyrs and undead creatures aiming to tear your hero limb from limb. The quests and subquests in the Titan Quest demo will easily keep you occupied for several hours, but the game will need a very intriguing story line to entrance gamers who aren't already tired of standard hack-and-slash gameplay.
Titan Quest includes a linear plot, but your character development is personalized by the class and skills you decide to master. The demo allows access to three classes, Warrior, Hunter, and Earth master, and we highly recommend the latter, which allows for the coolest attacks. Killing creatures and completing quests get you experience. Those experience points, of course, translate into level increases, which allow you to increase characteristics such as Strength, Intelligence, and Dexterity and improve the skills in your area of mastery. As mentioned, the 495MB demo includes several hours of free gameplay, but it's up to you whether you want to defeat those countless bands of pesky satyrs.
Publisher's description
From THQ :The Titans, gods before the gods, have escaped from their eternal prison to wreak havoc on the world. In this titanic struggle between old and new gods it is the heroes of humankind who will ultimately determine the fate of all existence. The player quests throughout the ancient world in a race to uncover the secrets needed to once again imprison these ancient gods. Journeying to fabled locations such as the Parthenon, the maze at Knossos, the Great Pyramids, and the Hanging Gardens of Babylon, the player will have to overcome terrifying monsters and mythical beasts. A flexible class system allows almost limitless ways for the player to develop their character. Skills can be customized in many ways, and never become obsolete.
This demo includes two playable missions and allows you to advance your character to level six and to learn three different skills.

Version: Titan Quest demo
Pros: Great Demo, looking forward to the release of it. It has an easy tutorial at the beginning that shows you everything you need to know. I was rarely with questions of gameplay.
Video/audio/gameplay/etc options are widely selected, great to play the way you want it to.
Recommended for a try, I wouldn't think EVERYBODY would like because of some the aspects of it, but it is worth a try.
Cons: Runs pretty good but there are a few flaws with the camera (and I had some with the mouse, but I think that's because Im running this on a laptop).
Also wish that you could move with A, S, D, and W.. it would have made battling easier.

Version: Titan Quest demo
"A solid, but not stunning game"
Pros: This game has some nice graphics and is easily understood. I'd imagine that there would be enough in the full game to keep you occupied for a while. The demo is a decent length.
Cons: Seen it all before.
Combat against multiple enemies can be confusing, even if you are zoomed into your character.
As far as i could tell the camera was fixed. In other (very) similar games, e.g. spellforce, there was a handy option to rotate the camera, which made playing that bit easier.
Linear gameplay.

Version: Titan Quest demo
"DO NOT BUY YET - PLEASE READ!"
Pros: PAY VERY CLOSE ATTENTION
Cons: This game is TRASH CODE BETA right now... don't read and go by the reviews here. A friend of mine did and bought the game. Come to find out after issues with the multi player and video... we researched other forums and man o man this game has some MAJOR ISSUES even this latest patch called 1.11 has yet to fix. Apparantly Multi-Player is not even stable enough right now. ALSO THERE ARE PPL WHO HAVE DOWNLOADED THE DEMO AND THEN BUY THE GAME AND THE FULL VERSION WILL NOT WORK ON THEIR COMPUTERS. So before you waste 50 dollars on a game that is apparantly still BETA, Read other forums, this game has some issues still being worked out.
The retards released a game with way too many bugs. YOU HAVE MY WARNING.
