He was able to program Microsoft Agents to be the tutors that walk you through the steps for solving math problems. After clicking on the Tutorial button of the program, a Microsoft Agent will explain the steps for solving a particular problem. After seeing many examples, the user will be ready to click on the Practice button to start practicing the steps learned in the tutorial. When practicing, the Microsoft Agent provides continuous feedback. The Math Tutor website contains the following math programs: Conversions, Signed Numbers, Simple Equations, Equations with Coefficients, Binomials, Factoring, Factoring Quadratic Equations, Completing the Square, Quadratic Formula, and Math Suite. The Microsoft Agents required files can be downloaded from Math & More website.
