The Logo Creator for Mac is an app that produces logo images, watermarks, letterhead, and other advertising graphics. Priced at $37 for a licensed copy, The Logo Creator for Mac is available from the publisher and a number of other download locations.
The interface of The Logo Creator for Mac is easy to work with and mostly intuitive. You start with more than 200 templates that can be customized, or you can create an image from scratch if you have the inspiration and skills. On top of the basic image, you can add one or more of the 300 elements that enhance the image. You can also import graphics and pictures to your design. While simple logos are relatively easy to create, you can create more-complex images with The Logo Creator for Mac with more work. The drag-and-drop interface is easy to work with, and the palette for colors and text is simple. All images produced by The Logo Creator for Mac are license-free so you can sell or give them away.
We used The Logo Creator for Mac to create a mix of logos, letterhead, and business cards for a couple of fictitious businesses. In all cases, The Logo Creator for Mac was easy to work with, and just playing around with templates and add-ons gave us some inspiration. While these types of logos won't be a match for professional graphic artists, for many people this is all they need to establish an identity.

I went through the whole process of downloading, installing. To find out it wouldn't work!

Can only move selected objects - cannot resize.
If using imported graphic, can only place and move object - can't resize, or manipulate in any way.
Very simple!Summary
If you want to use one of the pre-designed templates and just change colors and fonts, this is great. For anything more sophisticated, it's too limited. I was hoping for a simple alternative to Photoshop, which this is, but it's just too basic for my needs.
