It quickly & easily writes tag info to FLAC audio files, and obtains album info online.
Cons
Cost too much for something that I only needed once. I would consider paying for this if I regularly needed to edit FLAC tags.
Summary
I needed to add tag info for 30 albums (500 songs) I downloaded in FLAC format. TagTuner was able to obtain the album info online. I did need to make some minor adjustments to the tag info, and that was easy to do as well. I later found out that Winamp can also obtain this info, but that involves a track-by-track process. Seeing as this is the only time I've had to deal with FLAC audio, I didn't want to pay for this software, which made the free trial a good feature.

It needs to have the songs in order - if you are missing a song, it can't perform the lookup. If you do a lookup on 1-3 songs, it usually is wrong
Summary
the explorer interface makes edits easy, but the album lookup is lacking. when it does find an album cover, it usually is the back cover that is tagged.
Since the time of the review, tagtuner has issued an incremental release. lookup still requires songs to be in order, but it seems to do a better job of lookup. I wish it could also look up other forms of media.

"Great piece of software!"

The tag editor is always on top. No extra dialogs to perform the main task - edit song tags. Good time saving thanks to: automatic files renaming, online album info lookup, batch processing.
Cons
I have no critical issues with this software.
Summary
I'm impressed with the product support. I noticed that main window doesn't reflect changes after using mass replace dialog. Tags ware written well, it just doesn't refresh them in the file list. I wrote a bug report using web site support form and was answered really fast. I believe I got a reply and this bug fixed in a couple of hours.
Build 2.0.0.1598 - anyone can find and download the previous version and prove my words. -

It does the most basic stuff adequately

The 'replace' function simply isn't functional. Instead of replacing just the text I typed it replaces everything in that section. The 'mass tag editor' doesn't work. The software doesn't read the 'comment' section of tags they always show as blank.
Summary
It tries to do lots of needless stuff and ends up not doing anything well. People looking for a tag editor already have a player and probably have basic tag editing in that player. What they need when they look for a tagger is a powerful flexible tool. This isn't it.
There isn't enough room in the 'cons' to go into detail about the problems with this software. Suffice to say that for a software package this size it isn't worth it. -
