An unabashed clone of Guitar Pro, Sweet Guitar lacks the polish and functionality of its muse. The program's interface is intuitive enough, and some familiar features are well integrated, such as easy tabbing and the ability to add multiple tracks. Guitar Pro files are recognized too, and many popular songs are included with the trial version. There aren't many instruments on offer here, however, and you won t be able to print or save your own songs as these functions are disabled in the trial version. Budget-conscious rockers may find Sweet Guitar a reasonable choice to start with, but overall the program is a pale imitation of other, better tablature programs.
