Traveling the world via screensaver can be both fun and mesmerizing with SurveillanceSaver. This simple screensaver displays cam feeds from the Axis Network cameras to your desktop from locations around the world. The more than 600 cameras vary in quality, but most offer an outdoor shot from a surveillance camera giving you a view of the surrounding area. We really like the ability to cycle through different locations around the world with live cams. We would have liked more options for switching cams and adjusting the amount of time spent at each location, but we appreciate this is an early version of the software. Overall, if you're looking for a unique screensaver with live views from all over the world, you will like this screensaver.Publisher's description
From i.document :SurveillanceSaver is a Windows screensaver that shows live images of over 400 network surveillance cameras worldwide. A haunting live soap opera. It is the first release of ongoing experiments with network surveillance cameras.

Version: SurveillanceSaver 2.0
Pros: Needs further development. Too many blanks or failures to connect. At least with the United States would like the state added to the identifier. Could a shot be frozen
or captured as wallpaper?
Cons: Too many blanks or failures to connect.

Version: SurveillanceSaver 2.0
Pros: Absolutely fascinating to watch these random cams from ALL over the world. Great concept! I may have to quit my job...
Cons: Program locks up about half the time -- it continues to run, but it won't give your screen back. Had to kill it with Task Manager. I'm keeping it, for now -- but I hope it gets updated and debugged.

Version: SurveillanceSaver 2.0
"Wouldn't Load the Cams for Me"
Pros: Downloaded just fine. The first 2 cams appeared without a problem.
Cons: After the first couple worked, every other cam got stuck connecting and never loaded the image. Just had a black screen switching between Norway, Sydney, Pullman, etc.

Version: SurveillanceSaver 2.0
"Nice- but needs a lot of work"
Pros: The idea is great and the shots when the connection is made are very interesting
Cons: A help file would have been nice. Program seems a little buggy and doesn't always make a connection.
Two things I'd like to see is local time of the camera and a quicker timeout when a connection can't be made, so that it cycles to the next camera sooner.
Although it says it is version 2.0, when installing it says v1.0?

"Lo baje, cumplí con los requicitos y no funciono"
Pros: Fue desesperante el descargarlo, instlarlo y ver que no solo no funcionaba, sino que me bloqueba la computadora.
Cons: Seria muy importante que pudieran acompañar el programa con un instructivo y poder saber que hacer cuando no funcione
