This free tool is supposed to let you browse the Web without leaving any evidence of your whereabouts. But after our tests, the only thing we couldn't find was a reason for you to download it.
Stealthers Options menu lets you choose where to place a shortcut icon. You can choose to place an icon on your status bar or you can activate it through a customizable hot-key combination. We were never able to get the hot-key combo to activate the program. You can choose what features you want disabled while browsing such as the browsing history, cache, and cookies, among others. During our tests, Stealther failed to keep our browsing and download histories cleared, and looking further, it failed to disable any of the features it promised.
We found that it was just as easy and effective for us to utilize Firefox's clear private data feature to remove any traces of our browsing, and we recommend you do the same. Don't bother with this ineffective tool.

From Filip Bozic :If there are times you want to surf the Web without leaving a trace in your local computer, then this is the right extension for you. Stealther temporarily disable the following: Browsing History (also in Address bar), Cookies, Downloaded Files History, Disk Cache, Saved Form Information, Sending of ReferrerHeader, and Recently Closed Tabs list. None of the affected options gets cleared totally as opposed to some other extensions which enable you to wipe these privacy issues with a single click, but at the same time leaving you without the history of your frequently visited Web sites.
Version 1.06 features improved stability, and an added Restore button in case something happens anyway.

Version: Stealther 1.06
Pros: Works as advertised: it prevents data of you browsing from being recorded, like the new features in IE8 and Google Chrome, except without any cosmetic changes to let you know that your InPrivate mode (Porn mode!!!!!!!!!!!)
Cons: Sometimes, you forget its on.
Summary: Excellent product.
