SpeedTao for Mac is a download management tool with a dedicated interface. This program is simple but it allows the user to easily download a variety of file types from many different sources. It can also eliminate the frustration of stopped or canceled downloads by allowing for pieced downloads and restarts. It does however include many configurable options that may be confusing to the casual downloader. The program can be easily linked to a variety of browsers and to multiple browsers at the same time. It is capable of handling a variety of file types including HTTP, FTP, HTTPS, magnet, ED2K, and torrents. Unfortunately, this beta version does not have any developer support if you run into problems.
SpeedTao for Mac successfully enables you to manage the downloading of all your different file types from the Internet. This program is appropriate for both personal and business use when you are dealing with a high volume of file downloads.
