Version: Speed Reader-X 5
"Amazing program, wouldnt have thought it worked but does"
Pros: I saw the infomercials but was skeptical. Then I saw this demo which led me to the company site. I am a believer now. I thought it was a crock and was looking for a reason to slam it but after 2 weeks my reading speed has more than doubled. I wish I had tried it sooner.
Cons: The lessons and documentation were good but the bonus dvd was hard for me to use on macosx. It has a pc version only. The actual speed reader x software works on pc and macosx, but the bonus disk only works with pc. I used the demo with emulation but it did not work on the ebook disk, could just be me maybe someone else had better luck. Still well worth the price.

Version: Speed Reader-X 5
"Get more than I expect for this price"
Pros: Lessons are clear and to the point. I like it to be able to load my favorite materials for practice. Be sure to go with the new module (not mentioned here) which can train comprehension and speed in parallel. I'm more than satisfied for this price.
Cons: The CD version is great but I have gone to online version, as I don't want to wait for the software by mail. There is a full review of the online system (which also talk about the new comprehension module) at http://www.speedreaderxreview.com
