• Not worth the time to install the trial

  It installed.

  Dictation recognition worked 80%. But to correct 20% of the mistakes takes 80% of the time.<p>Once I switched to MSN chat it was so slow it took about 3 seconds per word. I can type with one finger faster.<p>Sorry, nice try, but back to the drawing board. I hear good things about the Dragon tool for $100.

  This software relies so heavily on MS Speech programming, which is fine, but I find the MS speech software less problematic, so why add another layer? It really had zero capacity (despite doing lots of training w/ my software) to type anything close to what I said in many cases. At least one MAJOR mistake of "guessing" in every sentence. I don't have a huge accent, so I don't understand the problem. Once again, I found it easier to type than use this program then spend lots of time fixing the mistakes (and trying to remember what I could have said that sounded anything ilke what the program typed.) My awesome mic + MS's speech do just as well, which is to say that I'll keep typing.

  Pros

  after i train my computer i can just talk and it types my words for me.... pretty cool because i cant use my left hand and have a speach impediment i am going to tell my friends!
