From SothinkMedia Software:
Sothink SWF Decompiler is a Mac flash decompiler and Flash to HTML5 converter. It converts SWF to FLA or FLEX, easily extracts Flash resources like shape, image, sound (mp3, wav), video (flv), text, sprite, ActionScript, and replaces image/shape/text/sound for SWF. Sothink SWF Decompiler supports Flash CS3/CS4/CS5 and ActionScript 2.0/3.0. It's able to get XFL file from Flash CS5 SWF. Sothink SWF Decompiler exports SWF resources in batch and provides one-click online Flash capture and download.
What's new in this version:
Support exporting FLA as Flash CS6 format, decompiling SWF that contains TLF text.

I had a hard drive crash and ended up with a corrupted flash file. This software was able to create a FLA file from the SWF file I had published on the internet. But the file it created was not great.
The software did not seem to be able to handle images that had been skewed and rotated. Many ended up with widths of 0 or all sorts of strange distortions, an the only way I could fix them was re-importing them. (it particularly seemed to dislike any image flipped left to right - they all disappeared). Instances of "movie clips" did not play when the file was re-published and there were all sorts of weird bugs.
I do now have something I can use to start recreating my lost file, for which I am grateful, but it is still going to be a lot of work to remake it.
