More of a desktop animation than a screensaver, Snow for Windows is a highly customizable treat for the holidays. Though peppered with a few too many promotional prompts, installation is quick. Within the program's settings you'll find a bounty of customizing options. See snow fall in a variety of sizes, colors, shapes, and densities; send Santa riding across the screen with just a few or a whole herd of deer; and introduce a lumbering polar bear to the scene, whether tiny or hulking. Finally, no winter wonderland is complete without fir trees, so toggle those on to scatter them over the desktop. Snow for Windows won't bring world peace, but it will bring seasonal cheer to your work space.Publisher's description
From Jansen&De Waal :Let it snow on your desktop, with the snow piling up on your windows (really) and Santa and his reindeer running around your screen while a polar bear wanders by.

Version: Snow for Windows 1.6
Pros: CUTE-UNTIL....
Cons: This little doosey ran nicely-for about 3 hours. Then it crashed, right into the boot page advising of a keyboard failure.
(No problem with the keyboard)
After finally getting the computer to reboot, the screen won't sit still long enough to click on a command. Ran CCleaner, Registry Mechanic and PConPoint. Got rid of a lot of traces but still starts jumping all over if I move the mouse pointer to the right spot.
Help!! It is still screwed up.
