This photo to sketch converter produces a colorful hand-made drawing out of an ordinary photograph, laying accurate pencil strokes. Open a picture, move the sliders until you like the result, and click "Save" to produce a pencil sketch. Presets are available to allow converting photos into pen or pencil sketches, creating color drawings or watercolor paintings.

Pros
I tried this on some pictures, showed them to friends, and they loved it. I printed one poster size and framed it.
Cons
I would like to see more expanded help, better examples of the options like Texture, etc.

There are many options available to fine-tune the end result. The finished picture can look quite good with the right settings.
Cons
No quick preview available. The only way to see the results of your settings is to run the settings which can involve a short wait.

With numerous mediums (pen, felt-tip, color, pastel, etc.) and multiple textures it's easy to find a great new look for your favorite photos.
Cons
Pictures with light or simple backgrounds work best, but I've got good results from photos taken in the shade of a tree with multiple types of bushes and trees in the background.
