In my review below I mistakenly said Singular could not show the file in the Finder. It can do this quite nicely, and you can also launch the file from Singular. For this reasons, I'm going to up the review to 4* -

When I ask it to scan something big (for example, a whole disc) it crashes, but for smaller folders (for example, Documents) it provides useful data based on the MD5 algorithm - i.e. not file names. This was very useful to me, but there are still some annoyances:
- can't jump to the Finder to have a look at the file (i.e. check) - you have to navigate there yourself using the path data presented
- hitting the Remove key for one file in a long list means the folder has to be rescanned
Despite its warnings that it is shareware, you can't pay the company at the moment, so your current registration is free.
