I have been a long time user of the PC version of SimAQUARIUM and have been enjoying it a lot all these years. It helps me relax and deal with all the stress from the work.

None. This is the most realistic aquarium simulation i have ever seen or bought.

And then ... the trial of a free edition ended (Did i just say trial of a free edition? I must be mad!)
Wife now not happy.
As per the Eula on install;
"SIM AQUARIUM is "Shareware". I.e. you can use this demo version during 7 days after installation. Program will also display a "registration reminder" message on the screen. 7 days after SIM AQUARIUM installation you should either REGISTER it OR stop using it and consequently remove SIM AQUARIUM from your system (you can find out how to register on author's website: http//:www.simaquarium.com/ ).
After REGISTRATION you will receive your personal Activation Code. Once entered in the program's registration dialog (your computer MUST be connected to the Internet during the activation process), this key will remove all "registration-reminder" messages displayed by SIM AQUARIUM, and you will gain rights to use program for an unlimited time period."

Pretty lil fella, but not worth 50 bucks especially when this edition is listed in the "free" section as a free edition.

Pretty pictured fish and seemingly great options and all that. Honestly, I once went to OfficeMax and bought a $10 fishtank program that still works great so far on every OS I've installed it on, of course the # of fish and backgrounds are limited, but hey, it's a doggone screensaver already! :0

I think 7 days is kinda lame for a trial period, mind you, for a program advertised as "free" ....just my thoughts of course. I stopped right there and did not bother installing past the EULA paragraph quoted above. I'm kinda glad I didn't get wrapped into 39.99 or whatever they thought they were gonna charge me for a free program.

Beautiful coral tank screen saver. Looks and runs great at 1920x1080 on my 65" Plasma using an ATI HD6870 grafx card.
Cons
Not really "free" but I don't care. Wish the premium was a little cheaper than $39.99 but at least you get 3 extra licenses to share and future tanks.
Summary
If you love coral screen savers then you gotta get this one. Sim Aquarium has come a long way since Sim Aquarium 2 in terms of 3D graphics. I love it.

Summary
Basically I downloaded to try out, then promptly uninstalled.
When the screen saver pops up, there is an ad in the bottom left corner asking you to buy. Then, after about 30 seconds, the screen saver ends with an options screen saying if you want full functionality, then you have to buy. From their description, it sounds like you can use part of this for free as a screen saver, but definitely not. I would have given less than 1 star if possible. -

IT SEEMS THAT YOU HAVE TO HAVE A BETTER GRAPHICS CARD THAN THE NVIDIA 62OO TO KEEP THE FISH FROM FREEZING MOMENTARILY.
