CNET Editors' review
Developer 4Team specializes in add-ins, "software solutions integrated into Microsoft Office and Outlook," which are the business world's essential tools. Their ShareCalendar lets users share Microsoft Outlook Calendar folders without a server, both online and offline. You can share information with it from within Outlook and other Office applications, such as customized Outlook calendars with your own forms and even imported items. You can specify different folders for different groups of people, and even "subscribe" data for clients and coworkers. It also synchronizes shared Outlook items with handheld devices or between a PC and laptop.
Like the 4Team Web site, ShareCalendar's interface densely packs a lot of useful information in the available space, but it's well laid out and easy to grasp, and there's extensive assistance from the Help file as well as the product site. ShareCalendar must be installed on each user's computer. The program integrates seamlessly with Microsoft's familiar applications. When you update your shared folder, ShareCalendar automatically synchronizes and updates each subscribed users' calendars, too. Despite considerable choices for sharing this folder with that user, it's surprisingly easy to configure, thanks in part to a welcome Wizard process that walks you through each step.
ShareCalendar is free to try for 14 days and costs $24.95. It's certified for Windows 98 to 7 and all versions of Microsoft Office from 2000 on, including the 2010 beta release, which means early adopters are covered and those planning to upgrade already know their systems will be compatible.

"ShareCalendar Customer Support the Worst Ever"
Version: ShareCalendar for Outlook 3.10
Pros
You don't need an exchange sever.
Cons
generates tons of emails, many of which don't process properly and you have to close and reopen Outlook. Confusing interface. Annual fees. One license per Logon even if on the same computer.
Summary
This software and this company stinks!
when I bought the software they advertised you need one license per computer. Nope, you need one license per logon, even if on the same computer. Now they advertise "one license per user" and "Lifetime License." Nope on that one too.
I travel a lot and my wife and I share calendars. We have a home desktop with two logons (hers/mine) that required two licenses. Plus we each have a laptop, two more licenses and no discounts. Worse, we got a major virus and I had to reload two computers. The 4Team guys would not allow me to reinstall the software without repurchasing the licenses. No way. Your right to reinstall the software (even if you have the files to reinstall) expires after a year! They have to regenerate a new license key on every reinstall and that is considered technical support (by them) and after one year you don't qualify. STAY AWAY form Share Calendar and 4 Team. They will rip you off each and every year on each and every product they sell.
As for the program it stinks. I used it for a year. Generates tons of emails, many of which do not process properly unless you close and reopen Outlook. Worse is the customer service. I lived with it because I paid good money for it and was going to use it anyway. But after the "Technical Support" issue, never again.
Spread the word and don't let these guys continue to rip people off.
