Secure-Me is your access key to "The New Internet". Surf the internet faster, anonymously, safely and bypass hackers and filters by using Secure-Me. This Access key secures an anonymous connection through our servers, you can get full internet access in places that censor or block your connection and full protection at open Wifi hotspots. We accelerate your internet speed up to 3 times. This is done by our patent pending compression and acceleration technique.
The Secure-Me program offers customers security as a service (SAAS) as it secures internet browsing from the latest Web threats, protecting users' privacy and preventing identity theft. Once installed, Secure-Me offers a secure browser that encrypts all internet traffic leaving from or coming to the user's machine, accelerates the user's web browsing speed by up to 3X, and enables user's to surf the Web anonymously. In addition, the built-in virus and malware protection will scan every Web site for malicious scripts. Secure-Me continually protects users as it scans any files the user downloads or sends out through the secured browser.
What's new in this version: Version 2.9 has faster Web browsing (faster compression on server side), adds new Malware Scanner (now scans whole computer if you wish.)

Easy to install, simple setup, works great.
Cons
What they don't tell you is that in addtion to the $49.95 purchase price, there's a monthly fee involved too.
Summary
Great for anyone wanting a really secure computer. Cost is a drawback for the average home user.
