"Does a great job"
Version: SeaMonkey 2.16.2
Pros
- Integrated e-mail client does everything well
- Lateral bar is the best for someone who regularly needs to make searches
- Now saving in the mht format (not html) is fully compatible with other browsers and believe me I have tested it tens of times
- Everything can be customized
- Allows you to evade Internet advertising, even without intrusive add-ons like Adblock -just edit your preferences in Tools/ cookies or Tools/ popup windows)Cons
- I needed a long time to fully understand all it can do
- Setting email accounts' setup really correctly has taken me much time (you need to setup each account, for the outgoing and the ingoing part. It could by default suppose that settings are just the same).
- Private browsing is missing
- Some Firefox extensions don't work on SeamonkeySummary
All in all as said above it works great.
It is now my default browser. -
"A really good Internet Suite."
Version: SeaMonkey 2.15.2
Pros
Very convenient, stable and easy to use with a clean GUI that will please the seasoned professional as well as the novice. Puts every essential Web app in one neat package. Very FAST, comprehensive, safe and stable! My current default and I'm happy with SM.
Cons
I'd Like to seed a 64-bit version.
Summary
Good choice for the professional use, and it's FREE.
-
"Best of em all"
Version: SeaMonkey 2.15.2
Pros
Browser and e-mail all in one, whats there not to like.
Cons
No 64 bit... but it still works in 64 bit environment.
-
"Browsing is very good - not so much the html editing."
Version: SeaMonkey 2.14
Pros
Quick, responsive, user friendly
Cons
Difficulties when editing html files. The editor sometimes corrupts the source due to restructuring of the source.
Summary
I like it.
-
"Now my favorite browser!"
Version: SeaMonkey 2.13.2
Pros
Fully customizable and it's fast!
Love that I can use Firefox's Personas with it. :)Cons
None at all
Summary
A top notch browser. I use FF as a back up. This browser is the Father of Firefox so to speak. Both SeaMonkey and Firefox are THE BEST browsers I have ever used. I use SeaMonkey now for my everyday use. Love it!

"If you are pissed off with Firefox, get Seamonkey"
Version: SeaMonkey 2.12.1
Pros
Great browser, faster than firefox, no fancy/apple look which hurts my eyes. Seriously, my eyes hurts more after firefox updates. No or Not much certificate problem. Best browser since original Mozilla browser is gone.
Cons
doesnt work with 0.1% of websites I visited
Summary
Seamonkey is just like old Mozilla Browser, I used to use firefox until firefox changes: new looks, right click open in new tab position, and Certificate error - can't go to ebay, paypal, shopping online, etc. Seamonkey doesn't have any of these problems. I only use Seamonkey now with IE & Firefox as backup.

"What can you say but WOW !100% better than Firefox ??"
Version: SeaMonkey 2.11
Pros
Stable / Fast / works like Firefox should. It just became my default browser
Cons
A little behind on add-ons, a little complicated (For an old guy like me)Needs a single options or settings button.
Summary
I am and always been a Firefox fan, but that doesn't take away the fact that it is virtually no good, so in finding SeaMonkeys a big + maybe someone can tell me how come a Firefox spin off works but Firefox has sucked since v= 3.6???
So why does this mozilla wanna be work and the real thing sucks ? since they come from the same place??????????

"Email, calendar, contact list, & browser all-in-one"
Version: SeaMonkey 2.10.1
Pros
Since Mozilla Thunderbird did not have a calendaring function, this was a perfect MS Outlook alternative. I sync Google calendar and five email (3 Gmail, 2 non-Gmail) accounts into one location. One stop shopping.
Cons
It's not perfect but I am happy with it.
Summary
I recommend it to anyone who wants an integrated package.
-
"Very fast and reliable"
Version: SeaMonkey 2.10.1
Pros
Very fast and reliable.
Cons
No Speedial, only bookmarks.
Summary
On my older laptop 1.0GHz Seamonkey is about 5x faster than Firefox or Opera. I'm happy to use it as my default browser.

"Fast, Clean, Stable, Nice Interface"
Version: SeaMonkey 2.9.1
Pros
Visually very pleasant, fast load times, easy on the eyes. Email client is very straightforward and works well. Other features (html, chat reader I havent tried)
Cons
One download but it seems a separate program opens when accessing email from browser etc unlike Opera where email is part of browser.
Summary
My first choice for pleasant eye friendly layout and quick access to useful features without having to go through multiple sub menus.
