"Screenbooks unfamiliar with their own product"
Version: Screenbook Maker 1.5.6
Pros
The program has great promise, but unfortunately whoever is developing it isn't interested in making it better. You can't beat free software, but when the Professional version offers very little in addition to the free, why upgrade?
Cons
Contact form response indicative that the creator isn't aware of how their own software works. When sbooks folders are converted for web use, most of the menu links stop working, creating dead end error pages. This is tacky, free or not. Needs fixing
Summary
It's a handy and creative tool for those who like making tutorials, like I do. But the bottom line is, free software or not, it needs to work right. I wanted to buy the professional package but learned that it lacked the type of UI I would consider necessary in encouraging me to purchase it. I wouldn't pay 20.00 for the pro version, let alone 80.00. Maybe if the creator wants to stop being vague in their responses, actually ANSWER their emails, and get to the bottom of what is wrong with their "free" software, and make substantial improvement to their pro version, my rating is one star. I would rate the software much higher, but the creator fails to convince me they even give a damn about what they are doing with their own product. Pretty sad.

Pros
Excellent tool - robust and easy to use.
Cons
Would be nice if it could be exported or deployed as a stand-alone.
