A real pro in terms of its core competency, Screen Shot Deluxe only falters in a couple of respects. The installation process takes a while because you must complete an online registration, but once you get started, things get impressive. The program makes it easy to capture not only a screenshot, but also a screen area of any shape. You also can take a series of photos, record a video, or take shots of long documents that need to be scrolled. The interface is quite handy, offering configurable hot keys for any operation, though we found it less convenient for managing taken captures. The image-editing capabilities are modest, but you can always use your default imaging application. Screen Shot Deluxe doesn't hog resources, but it did slow performance on our computer when recording a video from the screen. It also crashed several times on Windows XP. This versatile program will be of use to a wide variety of Web and software professionals.Publisher's description

Version: Screen Shot Deluxe 6.0
Pros: this thing is just a no go. not only is the interface ackward, nothing handily useful seems to have been through when this thing has been coded.
Cons: It's not even worth being exhaustive; I'll just mention that there's no choice for the destination folder when saving to file and that you have to manually save every shot one by one, taking in account a 20% drop rate at best since often the screenshot image file is recognised... as rtf.
And... no unistall.

Version: Screen Shot Deluxe 6.0
"no unistall option, not worth the trouble"
Summary: will not unistall, system locked up when loading it, this program is really nothing more than paintbrush.
