• Forget 5.1, the new version 6.1 rocks!

  Pros

  It is one of those reare tools that despite being feature rich, still allows the tester to get on with his job without needing to be technical. It is both powerful, and easy to use!

  If you are testing integration platforms then look no further than SOAtest. There is support for multiple technologies on top of straight SOA, including many ESB's, web pages with RIA & Ajax, Database Queries, and not to mention the support for a wide variety of protocols. Regression tests can be created in an jiffy, and then run on a daily automated basis, with results distributed to those concerned. The productivity increase experienced with SOAtest will more than help pay for it.

  Pros

  1) This product has a strong emphasis on Web Service security. It is the most complete functional, scenario, load testing solution that I have seen. <p>2) The deepest product that I have seen in terms of coverage of WS-* standards. <p>3) This is a solid enterprise application

  Cons

  1) This is for teams and mission critical applications. Not so good for a solo developer
