  Great tool for understanding what actually happens and is sent connecting to Web Services, especially Open API. Basic version is free.

• Outstanding FREE program to test soap XML requests

  FREE Easy to use Automatically generates fill in the blanks form from a WSDL link

  Cons

  Too much PUSH for upgrading to a Fee-based version

  Summary

  Has really helped me test SOAP XML requests including those with parameters in the SOAP header (in one case a user ID and user password)

  Pros

  - parse wdsl files - test every function of your SOAP server - save diffent test cases for every function

  Cons

  - didn't found anything bad, the free edition is restricted to one project

  Summary

  I was looking for a tool that checks a webservice during development time. SOAPSonar is very useful for that. It parses wdsl and u can check every SOAP service function over UI. U can save different test cases for your service functions and many more. I'm not a professional user, I try to make a SOAP interface for my Oxid eshop CE. Since I use SOAPSonar I'm much quicker then before. U can check a function you wrote instantly and very fast and go to the next.

  Easy to use. <p> <p>Fast, strong stress testing. <p> <p>Checks for vulnerabilities - you will be amazed with what you find!! <p> <p>Nice PKI interface for SSL testing. <p> <p>Several modes to use as your Web services progress from development to deployment. <p> <p>Up to date with all of the current Web services standards. <p> <p>The free version is great, but definitely download the Eval for the Enterprise Edition, that is where the really impressive patented features are. <p> <p>These guys defintely seem to know what they are doing.. keep up the good work!

  Haven't found any yet.. I've reported a couple of minor issues and they were patched up very quickly.
