Publisher's Description
From Famatech:
Radmin (Remote Administrator) is a popular, award winning secure remote control software which enables you to work on a remote computer in real time as if you were using its own keyboard and mouse. You can remotely access the same computer from multiple places, using file transfer, text and voice chat, telnet, view only and full control mode with multiple monitor support in addition to other useful features. Radmin Viewer supports Intel AMT (Active Management Technology for PCs based on Intel vPro platform) and allows the manipulating of a remote computer even if it's turned off or you cannot start its operating system. Using Radmin Viewer you can turn on, restart and shut down the remote computer, access the BIOS settings of the remote computer, and boot it from a specified local CD or disk image file.
What's new in this version: Version 3.4 supports Windows 7 and Windows Server 2008 R2 (32-bit and 64-bit).

"Fast and simple"
Version: Radmin Server and Viewer 3.4

- Fastest response time against VNC, TeamViewer, RDP
- Simple to install.
- Reliable.Cons
Comes at a price. Not too expensive if you ask me.

"Perfect VNC but for the cost"
Version: Radmin Server and Viewer 3.4
Pros
Fast and secure. Easy to set up, though perhaps not intuitive for computer novices. Sharp video including desktop wallpaper, video can be set to lower quality for additional speed.
Fast and courteous technical support.
Fast and easy file transfer.Cons
License pricing aimed at businesses & not consumer friendly. Bought 3 licenses 12/2007. Due to computer deaths, I have 1 original computer. They extended my installs to allow for the original computers, but the other two licenses are defunct.
Summary
This is the best VNC or remote computing program available for Windows to the best of my knowledge. It is worth every penny to those who can afford it. It has more features than competitors. It works flawlessly. You can even watch small video over it, which competitors would never achieve. The voice chat is unique and helpful. If I were fully employed, I would have it on all my computers at work and home and on my families computers. The only improvement I could conceive of would be a consumer friendly batch license plan.

"Very easy to setup and use"
Version: Radmin Server and Viewer 3.4
Pros
I've been using Radmin for as long as I can remember and it works very well for my needs. I have four PC's in various locations and Radmin allows to operate each from the other,
Cons
It can get pricey if you want the ability to operate any PC from any other, but it is handy.
Summary
Radmin basically gives you total control with very little lag on all of the desktops in your home environment. I can operate my Office Computer where I send out most of my music feeds using my Netbook while sitting on my deck, which is very handy. The screens are so clear that sometimes I've found myself operating the PC I'm viewing from on the PC I'm viewing!

"Had it working in 5 minutes"
Version: Radmin Server and Viewer 3.4
Pros
Simple and worked. The "Readme".txt file was concise and useful
Cons
Stopped working after I logged out of host. I think that is because of the host using a dynamic i.p.?
Summary
I had tried a couple of others like VNC Free and for a rookie like me, I it was too confusing. Then I tried RADmin and BOOM it worked. Granted, by then I had figured out that I only needed the "viewer" on my remote PC but it was so simple. I hope the problem I am having is just a quick fix. Again, I think I just need to configure my host to have a static IP.
Also, does anyone know if you can transfer files using this tool? Can you drag & drop from the host PC to the viewer PC? -
"Ultimate tool for remote administration of a PC/Server"
Version: Radmin Server and Viewer 3.4
Pros
It works well and fast! We use it to administer Server2003 and WinXP boxes and it is great! Also works on one PC running multiple VMs. Have bought many copies.
Cons
Possibly cost when compared to Remote Desktop. No local printing from remote PC. If you want to retire a PC acting as server and set up a new one with your license, you must mail the company - they helped, no problem (this is a rare event anyway).
Summary
Try it - trial totally free of adware, etc. I think you will be convinced. Works well accross an Internet-based VLAN. You can configure the port for each PC, for navigation of firewalls, DMZs, etc. Client side is free, so you can set that up as often as you like. Client works well on Win7, have not tried server yet in anger.
Bottom line - stop reading all these reviews and try this tool first! -
"Simply a must have."
Version: Radmin Server and Viewer 3.4
Pros
Very fast, very reliable, contains all features I need.
Cons
A built-in DynDNS service and NAT pass-thru woud have been just great. Currently you have to setup port forwarding and a third-party DynDNS service which in case of some routers may not work correctly. But that's not the author's fault.
Summary
I am using this software for more than 5 years and simply don't know how I would have done without it. To my mind this is an absolute must for everyone.

"No Tech Support"
Version: Radmin Server and Viewer 3.3
Pros
works fine when it works...it did on one computer testing it for me, but when I left on a trip to try it for real, it did not work and tech support won't help!
Cons
Non existent tech support...tried contacting them twice and in forums and no response...can't buy something that won't work for me and is not supported
Summary
I won't buy software that tech support won't respond...waste of money and timem

"Works perfectly with my 5 networked towers & 2 laptops"
Version: Radmin Server and Viewer 3.3
Pros
systems running xp pro, vista 32 & 64 bit, and even windows 7 32 & 64 bit (but there are a few problems but it works)
Cons
i'd like 2 be able 2 Wake up on lan thru radmin instead of having 2 use another tool.. currently their util doesnt work with the 3x series.
Summary
i've used Radmin since it first came out a few years ago. i've added 5 (i think, maybe more) more servers all running well & i use one remotely thru internet 2 access my mom's system 2 clean it up and do other chores. its great 4 me cause i'm bedridden. only had 1 problem & it was not radmin. one system hung on boot up (over clocked 2 high probably) so i had 2 wait until my ole lady got home & could rebootthe system.. Another great feature is that i can access my laptops and use my 24 inch monitor, keybd & mouse since i cant see squat on their little screen (awaiting new glasses as i write this). i've tried other remote access software including the one embedded in the os (vista). Radmin just blows em all away..
