From Famatech:Radmin (Remote Administrator) is a popular, award winning secure remote control software which enables you to work on a remote computer in real time as if you were using its own keyboard and mouse. You can remotely access the same computer from multiple places, using file transfer, text and voice chat, telnet, view only and full control mode with multiple monitor support in addition to other useful features. Radmin Viewer supports Intel AMT (Active Management Technology for PCs based on Intel vPro platform) and allows the manipulating of a remote computer even if it's turned off or you cannot start its operating system. Using Radmin Viewer you can turn on, restart and shut down the remote computer, access the BIOS settings of the remote computer, and boot it from a specified local CD or disk image file. Radmin utilizes unique DirectScreenTransfer technology that provides unprecedented speed with minimal CPU usage. Radmin fully supports Windows Vista, including User Account Control and Fast User Switching. Advanced 256-bit AES encryption is always enabled for all data streams being transferred over the connection. Other security features include Windows Security support, IP filtration, self testing code defense, NTLM/Kerberos and Active Directory support.
Version 3.3 adds Intel AMT (Active Management Technology) support.

"Nice for XP/Vista home premium"
Pros: 1) No-brainer install
2) OK on Vista Home Premium
3) 30 day try & buy
4) Stretch mode seems to work nicely between PCs with different screen resolution capability up or down.
5) Nice price for commercial SWCons: 1) Haven't tried it across routers.
2) Haven't tried NT Security.
3) Haven't tried license transfer when migrating to another machine or reloading computer.
4) No sound transfer from remote PC seems to be there.
5) Haven't tried chat features.Summary: I give it 4 stars because I have not tested all the features. I do know that my lower resolution Compaq v4000 with 128 shared mem video won't let me seamlessly connect toa civ4 connection on my hp m9400T Nvidia card. So.......... "Radmin with FREE Inlet AMT features rocks!"
Pros: Great! Now I can easily fix any problem remotely within my corporate network, but only for PCs with Intel AMT support. It's a good motivation for upgrading old systems to new ones supporting Intel AMT.
Cons: Intel AMT features support requires systems with vPro technology.
Summary: To use Intel AMT features you do not require Radmin Server to be installed, as Intel AMT is a hardware based solution. Thus with FREE Radmin Viewer all Intel AMT features are also available for free. That is great :)
