This WHOIS search tool goes to work quickly to find detailed information about domains, but tools for saving results--and the ability to look up IP address ownership--requires registration.
Quis Lite's plain and simple interface is utilitarian at best. Simply input any domain name into the search field, and Quis Lite impressively displays its results. You'll find detailed domain and network information including registrant, domain name servers, administrative or technical contacts, creation and expiration dates, and much more. Quis Lite also displays the expanded form of a domain name's TLD (Top-Level Domain); for example, .com is Commercial and .edu is USA Educational.
Quis Lite generates information in plain-text format; unfortunately, you won't be able to save search results. Edit tools--such as Cut, Copy, and Paste--are locked in this version. Also, the ability to search IP address ownership is possible only on the registered version. Even so, Quis Lite works fairly well and supplies comprehensive results for those who need this type of information.
